Our Story
In 1995, Larry and Ela Klaudt left Phoenix, Arizona, for Los Mochis, Sinaloa, with a dream of creating a tight-knit community centered around English education. On May 9th, they founded the Arizona School of English (ASE), which quickly became a cornerstone for local learners. Over 10,000 students have since passed through ASE’s doors, gaining not only language skills but also life-changing opportunities both locally and abroad.

ASE’s success is rooted in its English-only approach and a focus on conversational learning, setting it apart from other schools in the region. Small class sizes, dynamic materials, and the celebration of traditional festivities have fostered a unique and vibrant community that families have embraced for generations.

As ASE approaches its 30th anniversary, the school is poised to expand its offerings with TOEFL testing, advanced conversation groups, and business English classes for companies. Through it all, ASE remains true to its mission, embodied in its slogan: "¡Donde sales hablando inglés!"
